WARGAMING RULES - "RULES OF WAR"

No. 1: FIELDS OF FIRE ( for battalion or company strength games 1790 - 1820) … £2.50

A set of rules which allows the gamer to field armies to fight battles during the era of Napoleon.   It uses a status based system for assessing the combat effectiveness of a unit without the need to remove casualty figures.

No. 2: COLD STEEL ( Rules for skirmish games)… £1.50

A skirmish set of rules which provides a fast game and is easily picked up.    Players control up to six figures each.    The game is based on initiative which is rolled for at the beginning of each turn with each figure being able to move or fire during their own initiative phase.

No. 3: OLD ENGLAND, NEW FRANCE (Rules for wars in America 1650-1800) ... £3.00

A set of rules intended to provide for battalion based games set during the French-indian wars.    Includes some orders of battle for battles such as The Plains of Abraham.    Again using an initiative based turn which allows for the ebb and flow of battle to be portrayed without affecting playability.

No. 4: ROLLING THUNDER  (Rules for company scale actions 1740-1900) ... £3.00

A set of rules for company scale actions with eight figures representing a company.    This set uses an initiative based turn sequence and includes some simple scenarios to get you started.    All that is required is a couple of companies per side, a deck of ordinary playing cards and six sided dice.

No. 5: JOHNNY IS GONE FOR A SOLDIER  (Wargames rules for skirmish games  between 1798 and 1815) ... £3.50

A set of rules for small unit skirmish games during the Napoleonic Wars.  The basic unit being a detachment of six figures led by a leader figure and uses an initiative based turn sequence using playing cards.  A dozen or so figures per side, a deck of ordinary playing cards and six sided dice are all that is needed to start.  A simple scenario is included.
